Ensuring Authenticity and Customer Trust: Winthorpe Conservation Joins Amazon's Transparency Program

As a company, we have always prioritized the satisfaction and safety of our customers above all else. That's why we are excited to announce that Winthorpe Conservation has been accepted into Amazon's Transparency Program.

(See the Press Release)

For those who may not be familiar with this program, it was created by Amazon to combat counterfeit products being sold on their marketplace. With the rise of online shopping, unfortunately, comes the increase in fake products being sold under popular brands. This not only affects the business and reputation of legitimate companies like ours but also puts consumers at risk.

When a customer uses the Amazon mobile app to scan the QR code on the UPC label they can instantly see that Amazon verifies the product as being authentic. They can then view other information such as key product features. The customer can then easily browse to our Amazon store and engage with our content including product videos and “View in 3D” models as well as “View in Your Room.” (pictured below right).

3D Products and View in Your Room on AmazonThis will lead to better loyalty and engagement in our customers.

Also, it means that unauthorized resellers will not be able to easily sell our products on Amazon or elsewhere giving us greater control of our brand. The transparency label is applied to our packaging at the time of manufacturing and is consolidated with the UPC code so that it is complementary to the packaging.

This is one of the unique packaging features that also goes alongside with our Ships in Product Packaging (SIPP) focussed box design.
